I stayed at Richmond Hill Hotel at the end of April, as part of a wedding party from Barbados, Canada and The United States. I fell in love with the place over the weekend I was there. The view from the patio of the penthouse where I stayed was spectacular, especially at night when the lights of the town below glittered like lazy fireflies. The service, led by Miss Gracie, was friendly, efficient and at all times I felt compleetely at home, an experience not always encountered in hotels in other regional countries.
As a journalist aand entertainer I have experienced service in hotels in many places and Richmond Hill stands out because it does the basics well - good food, good service, good infrastructure. Then there's that view. I have already decided that I will return to Richmond Hill. It's good for the soul.
